Bellamonte

Bellamonte is a small town in the municipality of Predazzo. It used to be known as "the mount of hay” of Val di Fiemme because of the many mowed mountain meadows around. Today, this area is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the region and offers partly untouched nature.

With the sunset over the spectacular Pale di San Martino, the many pastures and mountain huts at the foot of the Dolomites and the breath-taking views, Bellamonte is a real gem in Trentino.

In winter the Alpe Lusia ski area,
in summer the Paneveggio Natural Park...

One of the biggest attractions of Bellamonte is the Alpe Lusia ski area, which connects the Fassa Valley (Moena) with the Fiemme Valley.

Just a few km from Bellamonte, in the village of Paneveggio, you can go on many hikes, e.g. For example, you can take the botanical path through the nature park, where you can admire the deer with their impressive antlers, cross an invisible bridge and a suspension bridge.

In the village you can visit the 'Museo di Nonno Gustavo', where old hand and farm tools are collected.

Have you ever experienced the Alpenglow?

The ‘Alpenglow’ is the moment when the scattered light of the sunset touches the mountain range. Then the rocky slopes and snow surfaces reflect a red-golden light with all their might, while the foreground is already or still in the dark.

A breathtaking spectacle that you must see!
